About the Item
This 2-door sideboard is a craft handed reproduction of the world-renowned French Directoire style, which dates back to the end of the 18th century.
This range is characterized by straight, sober, timeless lines, sometimes enhanced by decorative motifs such as fluting, diamonds or Louis XVI rings for the drawers.
The 2 front drawers open with Louis XVI rings and brass sabots protect the feet ends. Each drawers' front is dovetailed assembled for better strength and durability.
The wooden shelf behind the doors is adjustable in height with wooden racks.
The finish is a white-cream lacquer for the whole sideboard.
The solid oak wood comes from sustainably-managed French forests
GONTIER, a brand of MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS group, provides you exclusively with 100% made in France classical and contemporary pieces of furniture.
The manufacture of each furniture is made accordingly to traditional French techniques of woodworking by small craft workshops in the western part of France.
Each piece is unique and burned with a "G" punch during the finishing process. We offer a 5 year warranty.
All pieces are delivered worldwide fully mounted in cranes.

MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS
MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS is a new brand launched in September 2018 by Eric Weiler (founder) and Eric Gizard (designer). We deliver 100% made in France high-end and top quality furniture pieces. Main material is wood, mainly ash, oak and cherry. Our wood comes exclusively from sustainably managed French forests. The craft-handed manufacture in the Loire Countryside and Bretagne ensures robustness and a very long life cycle for each piece. All our models are already fully assembled in our workshops. Eric Gizard is a famous French Designer in Paris and works several Fashion and Luxury Brands. He sublimates with his very fluid and elegant design each piece of our collections EGEE and KUBE. More over and previous to the launch of MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS, in 2010, Eric Weiler took over an old cabinet-maker named GONTIER established in France since 1920. French Traditional pieces and new designed models from GONTIER are also proposed on 1st Dibs.
