About the Item
Walnut wood sideboard with two doors on the top decorated with reliefs (rhombuses, triangles panels, symmetrical vegetal composition, etc.), a space in the central area with two vase-shapped pieces and with discs on the sides , and lower area with two doors (columns on the sides, geometric shapes and vegetables on the doors in relief) located under two small drawers that flank a compartment with a key lock. The metallic sconces present vegetal and architectural elements of classicist influence. This type of furniture was common in the 19th century throughout Europe, mixing Neoclassical details with Baroque and Renaissance influences.
