Italian Art Deco Ebonized and Vellum Sideboard with Inset Glass Top, circa 1940

About the Item

An Italian Art Deco period elegant sideboard, with 6 drawers comprising the vellum front, each drawer opened with strikingly shaped brass handles. The ebonized wood case contrasts beautifully with the vellum drawers, the whole is supported on gracefully splayed and tapered legs ending in fanciful brass sabot of scalloped and winged design. The surface is inset with its original smoked green glass. Italy, circa 1940 Size: 35 1/2" high x 75 1/2" wide x 18" deep.
