Japanese Antique Large Sideboard 1860s-1900s / Tansu Storage Box Wabi Sabi

About the Item

Very old Japanese large sideboard (Tansu). Made in the Meiji period (1860s-1900s). The material is paulownia wood, a high quality material. It is a box type with abundant storage capacity. No unnecessary decoration, simple and beautiful. It is the ultimate in simplicity. The smoked jet black color is also cool. Contents of box have been cleaned and sanitized. You can use it with peace of mind. Excellent condition for furniture of this period. A very rare piece of Japanese furniture with a wabi-sabi aesthetic. Weight: 15 kg.
