About the Item
The absolute highest quality piece of American cabinet making is exemplified in this VINTAGE Kittinger Hepplewhite Style Sideboard. From the recently French polished top to the base of this cabinet all of the components work together to create a simple yet elegant masterpiece. The Kittinger Hepplewhite Style Sideboard features two extra deep drawers on the outside of the piece and two wide drawers in the center. Three of the drawers have beautiful oval handles and the drawers are dovetailed for strength and support. The bottom center drawer does not have brass pulls but can be easily opened by using the hand pulls carved from the wooden frame. Everything on this cabinet is in as found, condition but the top has recently been professionally restored to give the item a fresh from the showroom look. Item includes an original branded furniture label. There is one key with the sideboard which functions in the top drawer only. Please note the hardware on this item has been replaced.
Kittinger furniture company of Buffalo NY has been around since 1866 and they are well known for having furnished spaces such as the White House in Washington, DC. Kittinger is still in business today and their master cabinet makers do an outstanding job of combining finely veneered panels with attractive solid woods in the door and drawer frames of their pieces.

As with all antique and used pieces of furniture there will be some small signs of wear and tear but overall this item is in very good condition.
