About the Item
Late 17th or early 18th century elm and oak pot board from England. This piece dates from 1690-1720, and has a beautifully grained two board elm top, following down to a case made from oak. The sides are simple and the front of the case contains three drawers with hand-carved drawer fronts. The drawers are surrounded lovely hand carved accents. The piece is supported on simple legs in the back, for easy placement against a wall, and hand turned and carved front legs with fluted accents.
