About the Item

This media cabinet in solid walnut with sliding cane doors was originally designed so that a receiver could be hidden behind the cane doors and still be controlled with a remote. We have since built it for a wide variety of uses, generally decreasing the depth when not specifically built for electronics. The case is built in solid walnut with mitered top corners. The doors are made of solid walnut with cane panels set in a track enabling them to slide across the length of the piece. The parsons style base is also made of solid walnut and lifts the cabinet off of the ground 6”. We are happy to discuss customizing the layout of the partitions to accommodate specific needs. We use a low sheen spray finish for this piece to avoid marks from drinks, etc but we are happy to use oil and wax if preferred.
