Original Gray Painted Pine Sideboard, Sweden circa 1840-60

About the Item

Pine sideboard with generations of use revealed in the wear and distress to the original painted finish. Shades of both blue and gray are seen, with an overall impression of gray which has been greatly distressed revealing the natural pine wood below. Interior is painted in a contrasting red. Restored, this cabinet is solid and stable, and ready for use. All wear, distress, cracks (see photos), age-related separation of planks (see photos) are all expected in an item of this age and years of use. Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed.
