About the Item

This striking late empire Italian sideboard has black painted and gilded wood, faux marble top, and four mesmerizing painted concave doors. Additional embellishments include the lion head faces with turned columns and feet on this 4' wide sideboard. Please examine photos to understand condition based on generations of use including old repairs to back, aged cracks, age-related separations, distress/wear to painted finish throughout, etc. Restored and stable. Three small keys included to use as pulls only (locks/latches no longer function). All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation (interior corners, edges, back panels, etc.) are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this impressive small sideboard.
