So strong! Let's describe on the surface first, then we'll go into detail. This pretty sideboard made entirely of solid pine comes straight from Sweden. Made by Sven Larsson in the 70s, this vinyl cabinet can become the coolest place in the living room. Dress it up with your best classics, a few books and a beautiful lamp, place your turntable on top, a speaker next to it and that's it. In addition, the little detail on the bottoms of the drawers and cabinets in green is super refreshing. But teak for interiors is a bit of a “must”, right? Hold on tight because it’s not the case! If at first glance pine seems to be in our collective imagination the wood of choice in the mountain world, it is time to deconstruct it! Firstly, most often when we come across this type of furniture, they are entirely made of solid wood, this makes them extremely resistant and allows them to always be easily restored, because under their visible skin there is no recomposed wood but real tree wood! Secondly, it must be remembered that northerners are sensitive to the nature that surrounds them, it is not for nothing that the right to camp in complete freedom is enshrined in the Swedish constitution. As a result, they favored native species, such as pine, in the development of their interiors whenever possible. Finally, to believe that the Scandinavians made their most beautiful pieces in teak or rosewood is to go astray.
