This exceptional Neoclassical secretary desk with a secret bookcase comes from Bohemia from the late 18th century. It is made of spruce blockboard veneered and inlaid with cherry veneer and burr walnut. The secretary doors feature clear glass inserts and are adorned with brass fittings. The secretary desk has undergone careful restoration and is fully functional. Its original polish has been revived, restoring its elegant shine. This is a rare design with a secret bookcase, which adds a unique character and hidden functionality to this piece of furniture.
