This Superb Cabinet Features Bowed Central Doors flanked by 2 panelled Doors with 2 Mahogany Lined Drawers above one bearing the Edwards and Roberts Stamp. Circa 1880
(Founded in 1845, Edwards and Roberts became synonymous with high quality furniture, both as cabinet makers, producing items to a very high standard using the finest timbers,
Their cabinet makers produced contemporary items as well as reproductions of earlier English and French pieces, favouring Georgian designs and satinwood marquetry. They were also known for adapting and restoring fine quality items worthy of their stamp.
