Swedish Gustavian Small White Sideboard or Console, circa 1840-60

About the Item

Gustavian white painted pine sideboard or console with one interior shelf (see photos to understand cut-out shape of shelf). Traditional fluted panel doors, Greek key or "meander" decorative carving along top, raised on tapered fluted feet. The newer, professionally applied white painted finish is lightly distressed to fit the age and grace of this Swedish cabinet. Brass pulls on upper three drawers, knobs on lower three cabinet doors. Restored, strong and stable. Any nicks, scratches, signs of wear are reflective of generations of use and do not impact function.
