"Torbecchia" Credenza by Giovanni Michelucci


Walnut sideboard by notable Italian architect, urban planner, artist and engraver Giovanni Michelucci for Poltronova. The piece was named "Torbecchia" after Michelucci's favorite restaurant. Credenza is branded on side with signature, and is a published piece (documentation available). Giovanni Michelucci lived from 1891-1990, and was known for such projects as the Firenze Santa Maria Novella railway station and the San Giovanni Battista church on the Autostrada del Sole.
