About the Item

Crafted from mahogany veneer and solid oak that have been finished in a rich, dark stain consistent with mahogany's reddish-brown tones, this antique vitrine from the turn of the 20th century features two doors with glass panes for showcasing your favorite items. Three shelves are visible behind the glass while a lower shelf for additional storage is hidden behind the lower wooden panels of the doors. Free from decorative carvings except pierced overlays at the top of the glass and barley twists at the sides of the glass, the vitrine manifests a Louis Philippe style of soft curves and sleek appearance. Round, wooden, protective plates around the keyholes and bun forefeet add to the vitrine's soft, rounded lines.
