Art Deco Burr walnut double wardrobe

Here is an opportunity to acquire a wonderful burr walnut Art Deco wardrobe, in immaculate condition having recently been refurbished in our workshops. This wonderful example features 2 amazing burr walnut show wood doors flanked by broad canted corners with contrasting horizontally grained walnut veneer. Above, the cornice is in gloss black ebony and again the plinth,with its original feet, is also in matching black ebony. Two long vertically mounted ebonised handles open to reveal a wonderful mahogany lined interior complemented with original metal poles and hooks. The catches are all chromed and have all been disassembled and serviced prior to refitting. The lock is fully working with its original key again chromed which is a nice touch. All hinges are cast brass and have been removed, polished, oiled and refitted. This wardrobe offers very generous hanging with full hanging to the left and 3/4 hanging to the right with a very useful open shelf above. This wardrobe doesn’t stop there, it has been designed to disassemble down its centre line for easy installation involving tight stairways. Re assembly in the bedroom takes just a few minutes.
