Art Deco Triple figured walnut wardrobe (flatpack)

We are proud to present this stunning 1920s Art Deco period triple wardrobe. Recently restored and refurbished in our in house workshops and is presented in stunning showroom condition. It has been sympathetically French polished throughout to highlight the particularly stunning walnut grain on this wardrobe. It has a very vibrant pattern very rarely found. This wardrobe is a high end example having not only exquisite veneers to the exterior it also boasts an inlaid satinwood veneered lined interior. Satinwood being a particularly desireable veneer in the world of antiques. This beautiful wardrobe has a solid oak panelled back and oak floors and is a particularly capacious example having over 2 feet interior depth. Another useful feature for those of you with difficult access or problematic stairs is that this completely flat packs into 7 main pieces. Disassembly and reassembly is quick and easy having 8 main bolts to secure it firmly and provide rigidity. The exterior as mentioned, has particularly stunning veneers which are a deep honey colour, the middle door is around 2.5 ft wide giving great accessibility to all garments hung within. The central door is recessed and flanking it are matching doors of octagonal outline each swing right out of the way again providing excellent access to the interior. All 3 doors retain their fully chromed full length feature hinges. The middle compartment links to the right hand compartment whilst the left hand section can either be for hanging or has removable shelves which would provide massive storage for pullovers, boxes of shoes etc etc. Finally the handles, all original are particularly gorgeous on this wardrobe , they are variegated coral in colour with highly polished brass backplates and below are matching oval brass key escutcheons just to finish off this wonderful piece. The whole stands on walnut veneered octagonal wooden feet adding real presence and poise to this wardrobe.
