Late 19th-Early 20th C. Large Scale Walnut French Dressing Cabinet With Bench
About the Item
An incredible ensemble acting as its own complete sitting room. A large scale carved walnut cabinet in the Louis XV style with double beveled mirrored doors for the deep side compartments. With a carved crest rail with acanthus scrolls over two shelves and two small compartments with doors. The large open section below filled with a removable bench upholstered in a pale green velveteen. Raised on cabriole legs. Lacking a key.
Special note: The ensemble comes apart for travel and will require set up once delivered or picked up.
Condition: Please see detail photos. There are various signs of age with some impressions and lines to the velvet bench, stains and finish losses on the frame, some rubs, nicks and scratches and stable age cracks to the bench frame which does not detract from the incredible presentation.
