This remarkable painted armoire still maintains the quality and details of the original green hand-painted finish. Please enlarge photos to appreciate the rich colors and unique patterns which are beautifully executed.
Impressive painting continues along the canted edges and sides. Entire body is raised on turned feet.
Originally constructed to break down into sections, the interior has shelves on the left and a hanging rod on the right with additional original wood pegs.
Even the lock and key system (still functioning,1 key included) speak to the high quality of the craftsmanship of this armoire.
This original painted armoire has been restored so it is strong, stable and ready for use.
Age related wear include dings, old repairs, cracks/scratches, distress to paint, aged separation of wood, etc. do not detract from the beauty nor function of this exceptional hand painted two-door armoire.
