About the Item
This exceptional Art Deco wardrobe with functionalist elements originates from Czechoslovakia in the 1920s. It is a testament to precise craftsmanship and the use of luxurious materials.
The wardrobes body is crafted from blockboard veneered with rare Makassar ebony, which was highly valued at the time of production for its unique and rich grain. The interior is veneered with light maple, creating an interesting and elegant contrast between the outside and the inside of the wardrobe.
The wardrobe features a functional original lock and cylindrical handles made of chromed steel, which perfectly complement the overall design. It has undergone a meticulous restoration, during which the original polish has been revived, highlighting its authenticity and beauty.
This wardrobe is ideal for those who seek a combination of history, luxury, and practical functionality. It will be a dominant and stylish element in any interior.
It has been re-polished with polyutherane piano lacquer by our professional refurbishing team in Czechia according to the original process.
Our professional refurbishing team in Czechia has fully restored it according to the original process.
This item features classic Bauhaus design elements. Elements of this style are neutral colors and occasional bright primary colors. Bauhaus designers avoided the fussy and pretentious, looking for clean, modern lines instead. Perfect for a timeless yet modern look.
