Rosewood Ocean Liner Furniture Suite from Ducrot, 1920s, Set of 6
About the Item
Main suite set from the liner Giulio Cesare launched in 1920 in Palermo with first voyage from Genoa in 1922. Completely fitted out by the Ducrot firm of Palermo. Excellent cabinetry, the prevailing wood is rosewood with walnut bands and finely carved parts with putti then lacquered ivory. Composed of: closet h224xL213xp65, chest of drawers H124 with mirror H212Xl160XP69, pair of nightstands H63XL58XP44, bed with headboard H152XL216XP192 and footboard H83 (internal measures bed 169X200). Good condition, excellent polishing at the time, light signs of wear.
