About the Item
The shape, the texture, and the design of this table make it hard to resist for many design settings. This is a beautiful piece that could easily accommodate a glass top to increase its function and utility. It is also heavier than it appears.
A late vintage Anglo Indian white-painted octagonal small table
probably early 20th Century, according to our appraiser.
Of octagonal section with lattice turned and joined top, the frame with eight legs joined by lattice turnings, on pointed-arched feet with shaped returns.
31-1/2 inches tall, 21 inches wide, 21 inches deep. This was part of an estate sale that had many interesting furnishings and collectibles from Southeast Asia and Europe.
Condition: This table has multiple layers of white paint, possibly over a dark stain at one time in its life. There is also some wood chipped on the underside of the table.
