Period Regency Rosewood, Burled Walnut, Blond Mahogany and Holly Candle Stand

About

This fine small table is beautifully crafted. The top is blond mahogany banded in burled walnut and trimmed with rosewood. The ebonized and polychromed stem support rests on three splayed legs with large holy inlaid spears running down the center of each leg and finished off with rosewood veneer borders. The whole rests on small bronze ball feet. While compact and small this table embodies all the major Regency ideals of fine Georgian craftsmanship, exotic woods taken from the empires far flung colonies and bold decorative elements.
