19th century Louis XV influenced inlaid card table circa 1860.
We are pleased to offer this stunning french 19th century games table on the louis xv style.
Profusely inlaid marquetry scallop shaped top in walnut with central blank brass cartouche, decorated with an ornate brass border. Back legs pull out to allow the top surface to flip over to form the playing surface and provide storage in the well below. Shaped apron decorated with the same inlay. Raised on 4 cabriole legs adorned with ormolu mounts on the knee and toes.
Wear to wood on top surface which is photographed, minor losses to metal beading work around apron. Recently re-baized. Re-polished in our workshop by hand and ready for everyday enjoyment.
