About the Item

Rare Arts & Crafts Movement oak and pewter inlaid card table the design attributed to architect C.F.A. Voysey. This table relates to 3 known exaples of Voysey attributed card tables produced by the London wholesalers J.S. Henry.( 2 examples in mahogany and one in oak) This table differs from the known examples in that it doesn't have the extended capped uprights. There has been some debate as to whether the uprights had been cut down but documentary evidence has come to light showing that the table was made in it's current form.
