18th Century Period Games Table
Made in rare walnut and decorated in this blue lacquer with detailed chinoiserie raised gesso figures, the piece folds out in two ways, one to reveal the scarlet decorated playing surface the second to reveal the storage compartment below where cards and counters would be kept, the rear folding swing out leg acts as the support when required.
