About the Item
An exceptional handmade Potthast Bros Chippendale Style Carved Mahogany Tilt Top Tea Table. 20th century Irish tea table made from mahogany. The top has a wonderfully scalloped and hand-carved edge with shell decoration. The top has gorgeous figured wood as well. The base is a birdcage on a turned and carved pedestal, supported on three cabriole legs with magnificent hand-carved decoration on the legs, finishing in a claw and egg foot.
Measures 31.75" in diameter, 29" in height close, 46.5" in height tilt top.
