Queen Anne Mahogany Shell Carved Card Table circa 1760
About the Item
A fine Queen Anne mahogany shell carved card table with single drawer, maroon felt lined and shaped table top with carved wells and corner turrets, and shaped frieze, all supported by shell carved cabriole legs terminating with pad feet. The table has a gate leg for support of the table with the hinged top open. Dates to circa 1760 in very good overall condition with a nice patina, and minor imperfections and wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 27 in H x 31 in W x 30.25 in D. 28” H with table closed. Ref: 8
