About the Item

An unusually small, mahogany tea table of extraordinary colour and patina. The hinged top leaf opens up to a rich mahogany surface, with a lockable second leaf revealing a mahogany lined storage compartment. The boldly carved lappets are of exquisite quality, resting on turned legs terminating on pad feet. Tables of this type often are much larger, the fact that this table is of very small proportions makes it highly unusual. Furthermore the quality of the lappets on all 4 legs are much lager then generally seen. Overall this table is a real rarity for its model shape and execution. Dare one say maybe unique. The fact that this table isn't very deep either makes it go easily go everywhere.
