About the Item

Walnut Wood and Veneer Oval Tea Table Circa 1870 An antique tea table made of walnut wood with a veneered walnut top featuring beautiful grain patterns, dating back to around 1870. The oval top has a wavy shape with the edge finished with a raised, profiled molding above the surface. The center of the top is adorned with an inlay in the shape of a compass rose. The base stands on four legs composed of double volutes connected by a central finial. The furniture has undergone restoration and has been polished. It is both beautiful and functional!
