19th Century, Italian Parquetry Walnut Center Table For Restoration
About the Item
The round top with two outer bands and edge with checked string inlays. A large elaborate parquetry star shaped in the center with outer triangular inlaid band. Raised on a turned baluster support with checked inlays and a tripod base with inlaid herringbone legs and scrolled feet. Despite the losses, chips, etc. this remains a handsome table which still retains much of its Grandeur and Style.
Diam. 39 1/4", H. 30 1/4".
Condition: Please see all detail photos. Restoration recommended. Stable age cracks and some losses to top parquetry, repair and loss to the top edge.
