Chinese Style Leaf Table in Black Lacquered Wood, 19th Century

About the Item

Chinese style leaf table in black lacquered wood with a gilt decor. Two leaves adorned with large cartouches framing Chinese-style landscape scenes with pagodas, junks, etc. They stand on two biped straight legs linked by a molded stud. Central straight stud on which stand two curved supports to maintain the leaves unfold. English work realized in the 19th century. Dimensions : Closed : H 76 x W 87 x D 38 cm. Open : H 76 x W 87 x D 110 cm.

Four apron leaves with a curved frontal edge covered with brown leather hit with gilt irons with a decor of foliage scrolls and opening by a small gilt brass button.
