A French Court Galleries by Tonk Louis XVI Style Marquetry and Carved Mahogany Center Table with protective Glass Top. Richly detailed Inlaid veneer top above a conforming apron with ornate scroll-carvings. Intricate carvings on apron and cabriole legs terminating with four 18th century style whorl feet joint together by a 4 arm equally carved stretcher crowned by an intricately carved ball.
Measures 30" in diameter and stands 28" tall.

The top of this beautifully designed and very well executed table is inlaid with a diamond in the center which grows into a larger, but more organic diamond as it moves outward. The edges of this table with the differences in height also make this table extra impressive. What probably is most striking are the incredibly detailed carvings on all four sides and on all four legs. The sharp details and the depth of the flowers and branches are of a level of craftsmanship seldom seen.
