French Empire style ormolu mounted malachite centre table

Height 77cm, diameter 100cm
Wonderfully crafted from a selection of high quality materials, this French Empire style centre table would make a stunning addition to an interior space.
Bright, green malachite covers the entire surface of the round table top, while its edges are mounted with ormolu. Supporting the table top are four ormolu legs, each one mounted with a patinated bronze winged female figure. Their arms are raised above their heads as if they are supporting the weight of the tabletop.
A concave-sided square bronze base with ormolu detailing supports the table. In the centre of the base is a malachite urn topped by an ormolu flambeau finial, adding another elegant touch to this refined centre table.
