About the Item

Table "M" from the Lang series, by designer Philippe Starck (1949-), with square top in mahogany on four sharply angled polished triangular legs in cast aluminium, 1987. The "M" dining table from the Lang series was designed by Philippe Starck in 1984 and produced by the Italian company Driade, Aleph collection in 1987. Signed "Starck" on the top of the legs, this table remains one of the emblematic pieces of the series, along with the J.Lang armchair from the same year. The sloping legs with their tapered body are a key element in the designer's creations, and give the table a surprising elegance and delicacy.
