This is a rare and superb survival. Not merely do we have this intricately inlaid parquetry top, resplendent with various coloured marbles, but we even have the original walnut center table on which it stood. Unlike the laser-carved version, these have a real zing...powerful decorative impact and the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the glory that is Italian marble. Unlike the rather dull layout of squares in graduated sizes, the craftsman creates a spiral which adds a dynamism to the design, a real sense of movement. This table is substantially larger than most and would make a stunning breakfast table or a truly stylish and elegant introduction in the entrance of your home.
