About the Item
Pedestal table custom made by studio artist Gregg Lipton of Cumberland Maine circa 1989. From the estate of Lipton's parents. American Modern influenced by the Biedermeier period in Austria. Featuring refined and sophisticated details in the grain patterning, with a Swiss Pear rosette inlay. Beautifully book matched olive wood round top and four inch apron on tapering octagonal pedestal column and octagonal base with ebony wood framed stabilizer and feet. Signed on the underside. Excellent condition.
