18th Century Table with Delft Tiles Schleswig Holstein Gray and Gilding

About the Item

A very rare and unusual tile table from Schleswig Holstein with its original setting and gilding. The carvings are special, which are all around and allow the table to be placed in the room as well as against the wall. The Delfter tiles are original, one scene is provided with the baptism in the Jordan and the others are landscape paintings. these types of tables can be found in manor houses in Schleswig Holstein, compare also the furniture in the Museum Schloß Gottdorf.
