Antique 19th Century Warm Brown Three Drawer Elm Spanish Coffee Table

About the Item

This beautiful warm brown rustic coffee table or low table originates in Spain and dates circa 1850. The table has a beautiful top that was made from a single board of solid elm and displays a wonderful grain pattern. The top has a beautiful patina and shows many marks and dents gained over its long lifespan. The top is 1.2 inches thick with a rounded edge and it was joined to the base with wood pens. The table base has slightly tapered square legs and features three drawers with raised panels and is fitted with steel drawer pull rings. The middle drawer features a lock and hammered steel keyplate. The lock comes with the original key and is fully functional. The apron has a delicate molding throughout. The table has a beautiful warm brown color with great patina and deep gloss. The table is well constructed, clean, very solid, and ready for use.
