Antique Italian Giltwood Marble Top Coffee Table ~ End Table
About the Item
Antique Italian giltwood marble top coffee table ~ end table is the perfect choice for more formal, intimate entertaining! The meticulously sculpted framework consists of an oval shaped apron pierce-carved and lavished with full relief motifs of stylized foliates and florals, appearing on all four sides. At each of four corners is a gracefully scrolled cabriole leg carved with complementary foliates in splendid relief., terminating in an escargot foot with acanthus flourish. The entire frame is lavished with a gold finish that has achieved a delightful patina over the decades. Topping off this jewel is a luxuriously veined piece of marble, carefully contoured and beveled to follow the framework below and providing a carefree elegance to your entertaining delight!
