California Redwood Burl Coffee Table
About the Item
This coffee table features a slab of Redwood burl sourced from Northern California. Burls are a growth caused by a tree’s response to stress, injury, or infection. This particular species. Sequoia sempervirens are prized for their stunning pattern, rarity, and colors they exhibit. We accentuated the naturally warm, rich tones by filling the internal voids with resin of a marbled amber hue. The base has a unique brushed copper paint finish reminiscent of the colors found in the resin. This gives the underside of this table a subtle yet absolutely breathtaking undercarriage - especially when the light strikes it.
This piece has also been ceramic coated with black forest ceramic diamond coating. The industry-leading coating for protecting the surface from UV rays, spills, and scratches. This coating is particularly unique, as it provides unparalleled protection and retains the natural coloring and feeling of the wood!
