About the Item

A Chinese Qing Dynasty period coffee table from the 19th century, with nicely distressed patina. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty, this low table, originally used as a bench, features a rectangular single plank top sitting above a simply carved apron. Boasting a nicely distressed patina, the table is raised on four straight legs connected to one another through double stretchers on the sides. With its clean lines and weathered appearance, this Qing Dynasty coffee table will bring a touch of authenticity to any living room or covered patio.

A Chinese Qing Dynasty period coffee table from the 19th century, with carved apron and scrolling feet. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period, this low table, which could nowadays be used as a coffee table (the Chinese didn't used coffee tables in the 19th century), features a rectangular top with central board, sitting above a beautifully carved apron. This apron is adorned with a central calligraphic motif surrounded by scrolls, animals, foliage and geometric accents. Raised on four straight legs with scrolling feet, the table boasts a dark patina.
