This table is from an extensive South Florida collection of noteworthy mid-century French design. The collector traveled to Paris throughout the 1970s on behalf of Price Waterhouse. Attracted to the quality construction and uniqueness of the art and design he found there, he began acquiring the objects first as a hobby, then more studiously as he educated himself via catalogues raisonne and biographies of his favorite artists and designers.
