About the Item

Frits Henningsen. A Cuban mahogany circular Art Deco pedestal table. One-pillar frame with 3 spraying legs and brass ends. Top of solid wood with carved raised edge. Made circa 1930-39 by Frits Henningsen. Impressed “typical” order number to frame “7352”. While this is a well known model by Frits Henningsen that remains popular the specific origin of this piece also makes it a collectable piece of historic design from one of the great master of the period. Provenance: This table was acquired from the estate after the daughter of Frits Henningsen. Her father Frits passed when she was only 22 and still living at home. The table went to her when her mother passed, meaning it had been her parents table and consequently Frits Henningsen own table.
