Joano coffe marble Design table Unique Piece Contemporary Artist Spain. Joano is a coffee table made in Spain, limited edition of a single piece collaboration between the artist and designer Joaquín Moll and the artist painter Luciano Esteban, both local artists from Segovia. The coffee table consists of an oxide slate structure with glass decorated with Luciano's artwork. Joano's design is simple in appearance with two pieces, one of slate and the other of glass, assembled together. The geometric shape of an inverted U makes JOANO a coffee table that is simple in design and easy to move. JOANO is a unique collaboration of Spanish artists in a modern and contemporary style furniture that brings together design and contemporary art in a sculptural piece of furniture in natural stone. The table has very fine lines making it the hallmark of Joaquín, an expert in natural stone proportions applied to design. The stone of the table is an oxidized slate from Brazil, in whose surface can be seen typical waters of this slate that show on its surface the different components in the formation of natural stone, such as iron oxides. In addition, the slate in natural finish allows to appreciate its natural flakes having a rough finish and sides with natural notches of the stone. This limited edition piece of furniture was made by Joaquín Moll and Luciano Esteban in 2012 as a collaboration between the artists from Segovia. A point of union of different disciplines that come together such as furniture design and plastic arts. The techniques used are painting on glass, as well as the manufacture of natural stone in coffee table format. A limited edition piece with a single unit showing an incredible elegant and sophisticated design, with a unique artistic furniture sculpture.
