Large Industrial Coffee Table Cart with Forged Wheels and Glass Top
About the Item
An imposing and rustic large coffee table cart with glass top
The base of the table is made from solid oak beams. The axels, wheels and other hardware is in hand forged steel.
We've inserted a smokey glass hardened top to keep the beautiful steel visible. The cart originates from a sawmill in Northern France.
It was used to transport logs and beams internally. The cart drove over rails and was mostly subject to wind and rain. The cart has aged beautifully due to these conditions. The cart has been repaired in our workshop with its wonderful patina and age in mind.
A tempered smoke glass plate was inserted so the still functioning rolling parts are fully visible.
