A Chinese vintage Qing dynasty style elmwood coffee table from the mid-20th century, with reversible top, pierced apron and pillar-shaped strut motifs. Born in China during the midcentury period, this exquisite coffee table features a square top that can be turned over to present either a wooden, or a rattan surface. The pierced apron is adorned with pillar-shaped strut motifs that give an undeniable sense of airiness to the table. Raised on four square legs, the table charms our eyes with its clean lines and beautiful brown patina, making it an excellent choice to decorate any home, particularly placed in a living room or family room.

An antique Chinese Qing Dynasty period elm wood coffee table from the early 20th century, with hand-woven rattan top inset, square legs, open apron and pillar strut motifs. Created in China during the late Qing Dynasty period, this coffee table was originally made from a cut down Lohan bed, also called an opium smokers' bed. The table showcases a rectangular top with hand-woven rattan inset and slightly tapering edges, sitting above an open apron accented with a regular rhythm of pillar strut style motifs. It is raised on four sturdy square-shaped legs giving great stability to the ensemble. The design is the same on all sides, the table will be able to float in a room and be seen from all angles.
