About the Item

'Guéridon' table, variant of the 'Levard' model in Burr amboyna with bronze 'sabots.' Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann (1879-1933) was a French furniture designer and interior decorator and one of the most important and influential figures of the Art Deco movement, even considered by some the godfather of French Art Deco. His designs are characterized through elegance and purity of form, made with precious materials and expert craftsmanship, combining luxuriousness with modernity. Bibliography: P.
