About the Item
1970's Jet Set Glam!
Sandro Petti designed rectangular cocktail table and produced by the workshop L'Angolo Metallarte, Rome.
Very thick cruciform Lucite base with polished chrome connector block at center of base.
Topped with mirror polished chrome clad rectangular frame and inset with smoked glass.
Very clean overall with no material condition issues or blemishes.
The ultimate in "Cocaine Furniture".
Sandro Petti was an Avant Garde architect from Ischia who designed for Maison Jansen and L'AngoloMetallarte. His work was recognized in 1977 at the Salone del Mobile with images on Casa Vogue.
L'Angolo Metallarte with Studio A were in Rome, at that time, the official temples of Avant Garde architecture with exclusive artists and designers like Romeo Rega, Enrico Manera, Michel Pigneres and Sandro Petti.
