Dominique Zimbacca slatted coffee table by Pierre Chapo 1970 This table was designed by Dominique Zimbacca and produced by Pierre Chapo. Dominique Zimbacca (1928-2011) began his career by creating furniture-sculptures, mainly wooden armchairs and coffee tables. His pieces are today particularly sought after by collectors, and were the subject of exhibitions in Basel and London in 2016. Pierre Chapo, French designer (1927-1987). After a trip to the United States, Pierre Chapo founded his own firm in the Paris region to continue working with wood, a material he particularly likes. His design is based on the desire to combine modernity and tradition. Although they are still little known to the general public, his furniture is nevertheless highlighted during prestigious sales. The table dates from the 70s, it is sold unprepared, unrestored, you must therefore accept wear due to time, we strive to give you as much information as possible. We report scratches, discolourations, a slight accident taken on camera. We will not deliver by post for this type of item which is too bulky but we work with carriers, please contact us for a quote.
